My name is Funmi,
rhymes with roomy.
It's short for Oluwafunmilayo, Yoruba for "God's gift of joy." I used to hate that it was hard for people to say – first days and new teachers always made me so nervous. But if you can pronounce Dostoevski or Worcester or Geoff, then I'm sure you will be alright.
I'm a writer, among other things. I like to see the big picture, and I like to bring far-out, moonshot, crazy-ass, "No way!"-ass, head-ass ideas to life. I think creativity is going to save the world. And I think I'm going to be a part of it.
